June–October & January–February is the best window to visit Nairobi. The dry season, and roughly aligned with the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara from July through October.
March–May is the stretch to avoid if possible. The "long rains" — the wettest stretch of the year, which can make some safari roads difficult.
